****LIZZIE’S TRANSPORT IS FILLED****
Hi, all: I know that this is a crazy weekend of transports but despite our best efforts to combine with other runs, no one else has been able to add Lizzie as a hitchhiker onto their run. Boo. Lizzie girl has a pretty special story — Lizzie has not had a easy life, this sweet girl was dumped at the shelter super pregnant. She was adopted out, had her puppies, and her “adoptive family” dropped her as soon as the puppies were old enough to wean — they wanted the puppies, not sweet Lizzie. Instead of going back to the shelter, sweet Lizzie found her way to another group of independent rescuers who needed a nursing momma. Despite Lizzie’s best efforts to nurse and love on the puppies, the entire litter did not make it. Lizzie has been through her fair share of heartbreak over the last few months but FINALLY — her luck is about to change!! This sweet girl has the MOST AMAZING forever family waiting to meet her in CT. To be honest, families like this are one in a million and Lizzie is so incredibly lucky to have a family that has loved her since the moment they saw her. Can you help us help Lizzie make it home to her family this weekend?
