Road trip weim’s

by

Our little bits are on the road this weekend!

They are itchy, and they hurt.

They have painful little wounds on their necks, bellies, backs, legs.

They have little hair right now …. and will likely lose the rest.

But they are sweet, and snuggly. Want so much to be held, loved on.

Photo below is of the AL weim babies relaxing after their long trip, an amazing bath & some delicious food!

The 2 pups that went to Anna in AL are already relaxing into her home. The 4 Richmond, VA-bound pups & 2 Elkton, MD – bound pups will arrive today. Let the lovefest begin!

And don’t worry readers – many, many more photos to follow!

In other puppy news, we were beyond devastated to find out on Friday that the vet clinic they were boarded at in Arkansas went against our wishes and subjected these poor babes to mitaban dips (essentially – they took pups with raw, bleeding skin & dipped them in poison – twice!!). Instead of treating them with antibiotics (for secondary staff infection) and ivermectin to treat the mange – they sat at the vet’s office for a week and suffered with itchy, painful skin and open wounds. We won’t discuss this anymore because we’re still breathing fire over that one … but the good news is that the pups are out of there and will receive nothing but the best vet care from here on out!

Please consider even a small donation to help our little ones. We are going to do everything we can to help them get back to being healthy/happy little pups – but it is going to take a lot of work, and some serious donations to get there. Truly, every little bit helps! You can make an online donation on our chipin page: http://bonniebluerescue.chipin.com/weim_babies OR can call in a donation to our vet clinic!

Hanover Green Vet- 804.730.2565 – account listed under Courtney Groves/Bonnie Blue Rescue

If you are calling in a donation please have them make note that your donation is for the weimaraner mix puppies!

Not in a position to donate right now? No worries! Can you help us by sending this page on to a few of your friends?

Thank you for all you do to help these pups and so many others. Rescue would not be possible without dedicated volunteers to help pull dogs from shelters, drive them to foster/adoptive homes, overnight them, and donate to their care. So from the bottom of our hearts – thank you.
