Meet handsome Baron.

This sweet, sad-eyed boy was looking even sadder just a few days ago.

Baron is a 3 year old Catahoula Leopard guy was rescued from the Bibb County Animal Shelter in Brent, AL just in the nick of time

He was slated for euthanasia the next day!

Lucky for Baron, he had some awesome guardian rescue angels watching his back. Thanks to Jackie, Natalie & Shannon – Baron made it out of the shelter and into boarding at the vet clinic!

From there he journeyed to short term foster care at Natalie’s house.

And let us tell you – Baron is so thankful to be in rescue!

2-3 square meals a day, lots of love and snuggles, a bath and a comfy place to lay his head have totally made his week!

Unfortunately, after his trip to the vet we’ve learned that Baron is heartworm positive and has some wonky teeth. His front & top teeth are worn down and broken in several places.

This means that Baron needs to start slow heartworm treatment and have some dental work done before he can be adopted

(in addition to being fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped & neutered)

We have set up a ChipIn for Baron’s slow heartworm treatment & dental work. Would you consider chipping in a dollar or two to help this sweet guy get the care he needs so that he can find an awesome forever family?

ChipIn is here:
